Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada Tortures Couple Mourning A Death!

It was early Saturday afternoon and my husband Jack was on his way out the door to go help a friend with a home repair project when we notice blood spots on the carpet in the den and we then noticed our 16 year old Yorkie/Maltese was near the blood spots so we immediately called her to us and noticed she was seeming to have a miscarriage, there was the head and chest of a dead not fully formed fetus hanging from her vagina. Since the fetus was premature and dead we were worried it might not be a normal miscarriage and also her age was a concern so we raced her to our vet. He thought the same but as he attempted to remove the fetus it seemed to be attached so he did a sonogram and it was even worse than we imagined, it seemed the fetus was attached to or part of a cancerous tumor that had invaded her entire abdominal area. He said even if he did surgery he would have to remove a very large portion of her abdomen and she'd need chemo and radiation and he had already noticed a second tumor, Angel was 16 years old and I would never put her through that ordeal, I wouldn't put any living thing including myself through that ordeal so we ended up having the vet give her an injection that put her to sleep for good as I tried to make her as secure and peaceful as possible and it was only seconds after the injection that she died in my arms. Angel and her daddy, Tiger were the only family I had for many years and this nearly destroyed me, I had just lost her daddy to a heart attack almost 2 years earlier....
Needless to say my husband and I were broken hearted and we also had a little guy, almost 2 year old BooBoo Ringer, Tiger's namesake to console at home. When we brought him home Angel decided right away that we had got him for her and they were inseparable, today it's Monday and I am worried because Boo is just so sad and depressed, he missed his Angel badly. He keeps coming up and putting his nose to my chest where Angel laid as I held her for the last time ever while my husband prepared her coffin and grave and then he sits pretty (his way of asking for something) as though he's asking me to get her back and all I can do is try to give him comfort as I am still reeling from the unexpected loss.
To the reason for this blog today, I am so angry now there are not words I would put into print to describe the way I'm feeling towards the Atlantis Casino here in Reno, Nevada, they have wasted a lot of my time and energy when I did not have either to waste over the most idiotic situation of pathetic, disgusting and hideous customer service I have ever seen in my life. I have never seen the likes of it and I hope I never do again, there is absolutely no excuse for the situation escalating to it's current state. Customer service this bad is appalling at best, what kind of moron's do they hire and what kind of training do they receive but let me tell you what they've put us through for days now and the situation is still unresolved.
We had purchased 5 tickets for the Saturday night concert featuring Poco, Pure Prairie League and Firefall, all bands we loved and had yet to see in concert and we were going to see the concert with some very good friends of ours. The tickets were to be picked up at the casino the night of the show, which was this past Saturday, the day we lost Angel. I called the casino a head of time and told them the circumstances and that we would not be able to attend the concert but I wanted to ensure our friends had no problem's getting their tickets and seeing the show. The person, Heather who answered my call informed me regardless of circumstance the tickets were non refundable and my credit card was charged for all 5 and I understood this so I said fine, just make sure my friends get the tickets, we then called our friends and said if they could not resale the tickets then give them to someone to see the show so they were not wasted. Done, right? Not even. It seems when our friends picked up the concert tickets the person at the counter made a point of taking 2 of the tickets out of the envelope before handing it to my friend, she assumed that due to the circumstances the casino had a heart and had credited our credit card back for the 2 tickets and that's why they took them back! That would have been the nice, courteous descent thing to do but, of course, that's not what they did at all. They simply kept them and either resold them or used them themselves.
I found this out when I called my friend at the concert and ask her if she had been able to make use of the tickets and then she told me what they had done. So I called the casino back and ask them why they had taken the two tickets back and if they had refunded my credit card the cost, of course they hadn't because they are "NON REFUNDABLE" OK, then find why did they not give them with the rest to our friends as they were instructed to do, why did they take 2 out and keep them for themselves although they had already charged my credit card for them. NO ONE at the casino has an explanation for this, Heather left without returning my call, her boss, Tara was too busy handing out tickets to call me back then but said she would on Sunday but she never did so on Monday when I called back I was informed she had 2 days off and would call me back sometime after Wednesday. Sorry, this is unacceptable to me so I called the head of human resources, Teresa Finn trying to find out how to contact the general manager, Darlyne Sullivan and told her why so she tried to put me in contact with the head of special events services, Jackie Hunt so I ended up with Marina Mulch who works for Steve somebody the head of something but everybody that could deal with the situation was too busy or gone!!!!! I did at least get a call back from Marina Mulch who informed me that they had scheduled a meeting to discuss the matter and decide how to handle it at that time and would call me after with the results of their meeting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is it me? Is this a NO-BRAIN ER or what, the Atlantis Casino's EMPLOYEE took tickets that belonged to me and kept them. I don't care who took them or why, it was their EMPLOYEE that took MY PAID FOR TICKETS, PAID FOR BY ME AT THEIR DEMAND and kept them, YOU SIMPLY CREDIT MY ACCOUNT THE $52.00, you fricken MORONS, YOU MEGA MORONS, YOU PATHETICALLY DUMB, IGNORANT BRAIN DEAD MENTALLY CHALLENGED MORONS. It seems so simple to me, I fail to see why it takes 5 days and multitude of MORONS having a meeting to decide how to handle the situation. I paid for 5 tickets, you only gave me 3, your employee TOOK 2 of my tickets, CREDIT MY CREDIT CARD!!!!!!
I have been on the phone and hold for so long I am now absolutely disgusted with this place the the pathetic excuses they have for customer service. Doesn't anyone expect to have to go through this type of situation over something that should have been resolved that evening before I went to bed and TARA went off her shift for her days off!!!!!!!!!! It shouldn't require an act of congress to get a refund for tickets taken my their employee's and I do not care what the reason was or who did it, it was done, YOU MAKE IT RIGHT WITH YOU CUSTOMER, OR IN THIS CASE I SHOULD SAY EX CUSTOMER I WANT TO MAKE IT UNDERSTOOD I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE Atlantis Casino Resort Spa or any of it's affiliates if I can help it EVER again, there is just no reasonable excuse for this kind of incompetence and negligence when it comes to dealing with your customers.
I talked to at least once and most of them more that once,(1) Heather,(2) Bob,(3) Roger,(4) Tara,(5) Teresa,(6) Jackie and (7) Marina ( 7 employee's) and they knew what I have been going through, how could they, how dare they add to the grief I was already going through, these people aren't fit to work in the public at large and what kind of organization is the Atlantis if it takes a meeting and an act of congress to handle this situation, it's just dumb founding to me. And now instead of comforting my almost two year old Boo dog I'm writing this damn blog because I feel abused, I mean ABUSED at best by these people. And I want to end this on a good note, LOL not possible with the Atlantis apparently, I am STILL WAITING to see if the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, multi million dollar company is going to pay me back the $52.00 for the 2 tickets, as far as I'm concerned THEIR EMPLOYEE TOOK FROM ME, yes still waiting for the results of the "meeting". Jon Stossel where are you when I need you, GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The general manager's name is Darlyne Sullivan and I believe you should direct your emails to her, maybe she can make a decision regarding customer services issue's. Last, I hope everyone that sees this blog will pass it on, companies like this do not deserve any one's business and in these days when money is tight especially. Oh, and let me mention one more note that shows the Atlantis Casino's honesty and integrity, when I initial made the reservations I inquired intensively as to seating and was informed there was NO reserved seating, everything for the show was first come first sit and then when I called my friends at the show they informed me that 1/3, at least 30 % of the center front stage area was blocked off and reserved for the Special Atlantis Club Paradise members ONLY, they flat out lied to me before I purchased the tickets, had I known this I would have never purchased any tickets for that concert at all. Nothing like a little truth in advertising huh, Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, yeah, I'll be sure to NOT ever do any business or patronize your establishment again
