It' s always in the fine print isn't it? You've got to pay attention to the details or in this instance at least make sure the spelling wasn't just a typo! When you work your little Hooters off to sell, sell, sell more beer in hopes of winning a new "Toyota" and find out after all your efforts you only won a new "Toy" "Yoda" well all I can say about this is WTF, that really sucks........

One can sometimes find the strangest things in the strangest places! WTF, the damn paparazzi will do anything or go anywhere to get that one picture that gets them on the cover of some rag magazine or newspaper!!! And even though that could be Charmin on that tissue holder there in all likeliness it's not going to pull you up out of the mess you've found yourself in today now is it and that kinda sucks!

The Car Seat Is Eating Me....

Don't you just hate when this happens! Poor pup, he was just sitting in the back seat all excited about going for a ride in the new car and all of a sudden the seat eats him! And check out those scratch marks on those new seats, WTF, that sucks....

We Need To Walk???Exercise? WTF, That Sucks....

The Importance of Walking........

Walking can add minutes to your life.

This enables you at 85 years old to spend an additional 5 months in a nursing home at $7000 per month.

My grandpa started walking five miles a day when he was 60. Now he's 97 years old and we don't know where he is.

I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.

The only reason I would take up walking is so that I could hear heavy breathing again. I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing..

I joined a health club last year, spent about 400 bucks. Haven't lost a pound. Apparently you have to go there.

Every time I hear the dirty word 'exercise', I wash my mouth out with chocolate.

I do have flabby thighs, but fortunately my stomach covers them.

The advantage of exercising every day is so when you die, they'll say, 'Well, she looks good doesn't she.'

If you are going to try cross-country skiing, start with a small country.

I know I got a lot of exercise the last few years,...... just getting over the hill. We all get heavier as we get older, because there's a lot more information in our heads. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Every time I start thinking too much about how I look, I just find a Happy Hour and by the time I leave, I look just fine.

A Box Of Rocks Mass Producing At Tax Payers Expense, WTF

Nadya Suleman, 33 year old single mother of 14 in Whittier, California.

This is a little follow up on a story that caught my eye a few days ago, it's regarding the woman in California who just gave birth to octuplets. This story leaves me with many questions like why did fertility doctors implant embryo's into this woman when they knew in advance she already had 6 other children ranging in age from 2 to 7 years old, she's a divorced single unemployed mother living off disability payments. Doctors are suppose to possess a minimum of intelligence and hopefully have a few ethic's and a bit of moral integrity so why did they implant a litter into this woman, if those fact's I just mentioned aren't enough how about they also knew she was getting her health care supplemented by MediCal which means the State of California was paying her medical bills. We all know how expensive fertility specialist are, invitro and now it's estimated that the octuplets will spend anywhere from 7 to 12 weeks in the hospital. This boggles my mind that "professionals" decided to give this a go head, the woman was living on food stamps for god's sake.

Mike Furtney, Nadya's spokesperson ( and how in the hell do single welfare mothers afford to hire a professional spokesperson ) if they can afford that maybe I should consider moving to California and faking an injury, I'm sorry but if that woman was well enough to carry 14 children during a 8 year time period then she could have been working at a job instead of using state benefits to finance invitro fertilization over and over again, any way it seems Mr. Furtney wants everyone to "consider" her situation, WHY? It's a bit late now isn't it, they should have done that before they made such a valiant effort to help her mass produce.

Now today it's mentioned that 3 of the children she already had are also receiving disability payments, 1 is autistic one has ADHD and a 3rd has a mild speech delay although she wouldn't say how much they are each being paid, she did state that she doesn't believe any of the money or benefits she and her brood are receiving is welfare. Did she think those state issued checks and food stamps she received every month grew on a tree in the back yard of her parents house where her and her children now live, 14 children, 1 mother and 2 grandparents all living in a small 3 bedroom home, isn't that cozy?

According to Shaya Tayefe Mohajer, a writer for the Associated Press Suleman can draw up to $793. for each disabled child, that's $2,379. in addition to what she's drawing herself plus she receives $490. in food stamps, seems to me this woman is working the system real good and taking it for all it's worth. The hospital has applied to the state to cover the medical expenses incurred, to me the hospital and doctors definitely showed gross negligence here and they should be responsible for all the medical costs, they knew the situation going in and proceeded anyway.I see a great need of further investigation and charges brought against many people in this situation where incompetence, stupidity and possible fraud abound. And what does this single mom of 14 plan to do to support her litter? During an NBC interview, she said she will go back to California State University in Fullerton this fall to complete her master's degree in counseling, she plans to use student loans to support herself and her children. However, she already owes $50,000. in student loans and she plans on using the University's day care center. GIVE ME A F#!%&*% BREAK!!!!!Either this woman is completely and totally insane or she thinks everyone else is, either way she should never be allowed to give advice or counseling to anyone ever. I think her doctors should all have sanity evaluations done on them as soon as possible. And there's grandma herself taking care of one of her 14 grandchildren, poor woman's going to driven to an early death taking care of 8 more. And can you tell by the neatness and tidiness what a good homemaker Nadya is, one can only imagine what the house will look like after the arrival of her octuplets.

I don't know, I guess it could be me but something seems amiss in this entire situation and has been from the start and I realize that not all people are born with common sense but how the hell did this situation get so out of control and absurd at best? What is going to become of these children, it's quite obvious to me this woman is not fit physically or mentally to raise 14 children on her own or even with her parents help? Who is ultimately responsible for this mess? How much responsibility should the doctors who created this mess be accountable for? Should the state just pick up the expenses since they seemed to allow this to happen. And will Nadya Suleman ended up being committed to the mental hospital she once worked at for a brief time for her insanity? Healer or Pusher- More On Today's Health Care System....

And when I use the term "Health Care System" I use the term loosely when speaking of today's drug and knife obsessed, owned and controlled by the pHARMaceutical Industry and motivated by their own power hunger and greed.

Doctor's are taught mostly in school on how to treat you when you are sick, very little is taught regarding nutrition and health. They do acquire an enormous amount of knowledge including the Latin name for every component part of the human anatomy falsely leading them as well as us to believe that they know everything. They also rarely except treatment or cures that are outside of the "normal" medical industry protocol which I believe lends them to falling far short of a true healer. Also one must consider the fact that doctor's and the medical industry make no money or profit off of healthy people so they have no vested interest in making or keeping you healthy. However, the pHARMaceutical Industry working with the Health Care System through doctors is a bustling multi billion dollars a year business. Pop called this the "Disease System" created ,promoted, controlled and maintained by the pHARMaceutical Industry and the orthodox medical system and this allowed the health care field to be highly lucrative and hugely profitable by keeping us sick and dependant on symptom suppressing medications rather than keeping us healthy and curing illness.

I'm not saying there are no good doctor's out there because there are those who entered into the medical field out of a sincere desire to help and heal but most of these are controlled by the orthodoxed medical industry and either fear of repercussion from peers, losing their licenses to practice or malpractice insurance. Other's become blinded by the greed and power to be had by conforming. The pHARMaceutical Industry plays a big part here by paying doctor's to recommend and use their medications for their patients. Modern day doctor's are quickly becoming nothing more than "pushers" for the pHARMaceutical Industry........

Pop liken the situation to that of being mugged, when approached by a mugger who holds a gun to your head and says, "Your Money or Your Life." the prudent thing to do is give the mugger your money. The drug industry controlled medical system does the same thing, when we are in pain we just want the pain to stop and the drug industry uses this dire situation to effectively extort money out of us because symptom suppression can be a wonderful thing to someone in pain. And I will get into the more sinister connotations of that metaphorical gun pop referred to, the thing is we do not have to be helpless victim's of the drug industry controlled medical system.

We have to become our own health advocates, we have to become knowledgeable in area's of our health concerns and these days you have to shop for a doctor just like everything else. I believe a doctor should have a good working knowledge of diet and nutrition, he should be open to alternative methods to orthodox medicine in the treatment and cure of ailments. Many doctor's refuse to accept the idea of using herbs, exercise, diet and such in the treatment or cure of illness simply because there is no money in it. This I have experience and know for a fact and I'll discuss it further in a future blog.

Fear is born out of ignorance, knowledge overcomes fear and alleviates ignorance. I intent to continue spreading the knowledge pop spent his life researching and gathering to share with others in his vast and sincere effort to save the world, one person at a time if thats what it takes. To improve the quality of life for all those who's lives he touched and enriched with his knowledge, I intend to continue his heart felt mission to enlighten when and where I can to those wishing to be enlighten. This is a vast subject and information overload is not a good thing either so I'll attempt it in installment blogs. Next I want to talk about some of the place's those billions of profits go and why and about the options that most in the orthodox medical field will not tell you about and why....I always like to give pop credit when I blog on one of his passions and this is pop....

pHARMaceutical Industry-Are They Using False Hope & Fear To Profit

I recently came across a blog by someone I admire and so I read it and was surprised by the information. Everyone has seen the multitude of commercials about Gardasil which states that getting your teenage daughters vaccinated with Gardasil will prevent Cervical Cancer, it's a Cancer vaccine.......Not really! It's actually a vaccine for some of the many forms of HPV ( Human Papilloma Virus ) and since it was not properly tested before it's release the side effects are just now becoming known.
From Erin Brockovich's blog: The vaccine is NOT a cancer preventative, and it has not been thoroughly tested. Not only does Gardasil not protect everyone, it does not prevent all types of cervical cancer. According to current science, there are fifteen types of HPV associated with cervical cancer but Gardasil only counters HPV types 16 and 18. The vaccine requires three doses to start and scientists don't even know how frequently boosters will be needed.

Katie Couric of CBS also did a story regarding the side effects of Gardasil after learning of devastating side effects on the young women who received the vaccinations and what she reported was shocking and news to me. Please read this important excerpt from Katie's report:

Speaking of more than 8,000 adverse event reports and more than a dozen deaths, the CDC told CBS News, "we have found no connection between these deaths" and Gardasil. "We still recommend the vaccine and feel it is an important vaccine for the health of women. There are about 20 million people currently infected with HPV. Women have an 80 percent chance of developing HPV by the time they are 50. HPV is most common in people in their late teens and early 20s. Because the vaccine is a preventative and not a cure, it is important that the vaccine be given prior to beginning sexual activity. About 11,000 women will be diagnosed with cervical cancer and 3,600 will die. This vaccine prevents four viruses that account for about 70 percent of cervical cancers." The CDC report say es they still consider Gardasil safe because the safety of the HPV vaccine was studied in 7 clinical trials before it was licensed. There were over 21,000 girls and women ages 9 through 26 in these clinical trials.
And since this wasn't started until sometime after 1993 I don't see how they could have ran any conclusive trials as to long term damage or side effects and 21,000 isn't a very large study so basically they are using our daughters as guinea pigs. The fact is Cervical Cancer is easily detected by a simple Pap smear in a doctor's office and when this is done on a regular basis it has NO bad side effects and also prevents Cervical Cancer. But of course that doesn't generate a large profit for the pHARMaceutical industry, I mean think about it, Gardasil trials were on only 21,000 young women and since 2006 they have sold over 16 million doses of this vaccine, think about the money involved. The FDA lost it's credibility long ago so in my opinion you have to take anything you hear from them with a grain of salt and do the research yourself.
MERCK, the maker of the vaccine has done a mega media blitz targeted at young women and one thing I found a little strange is while supposedly this vaccine is also just as effective on young men, they have not yet been a target of the marketing and advertising. I don't suppose it could be because it's a much smaller and harder to attract market? Or they just don't care if our sons die of the cancer's caused by the HPV virus? MERCK is now pushing to have states to make it a REQUIRED vaccine which would require parents to sign a document freeing the pHARMaceutal company of any liability for side effects caused by the vaccine.
VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) first I ever heard of it and probably many other's haven't as well, already has close to 8,000 reports and the CDC (Center For Disease Control )has over 9,000. Neither of these two reporting systems are well known or publicised so you must wonder if they were how many reports would be filed.
My greatest fear is that this vaccine has only been released since 2006 and with minimal studies on the possible side effects both short term and none on long term effects because the vaccine has not been in use long enough to make any determinations what kind of problems and issues will we run into down the line, what price will our young women end up paying for being the guinea pigs for MARCK's trials. With the reports that are already coming in the possibilities are frightening if you read some of tha many reports I have read already and I've only touched the tip of the iceberg.
If some of you have noticed that when I use the word pHARMaceutical the capitalized letters spell out the "HARM" and the reason is my father in law, Ron Presson fought most of his adult life against corruption and misinformation on the part of the pHARMaceutical Industry including the AMA and the FDA. He believed in using natural and homeopathic cures for illness when ever possible rather than medical field's traditional practice of suppressing symptom's. The day before he died he finished the final edit of his book, "Your Money or Your Life" exposing the medical and pHARMaceutical Industries and offering alternatives to the medical greed wars he called them. He was a brilliant, loving man dedicated to saving the world and willing to do it one person at a time if that's the best it could be. His book was only published in a small amount and handed out at his memorial service. This is pop........













The reason for blogging this topic is I don't believe there is a lot of awareness regarding the side effects of this vaccine and the company producing and selling it in mass quantities are going to do their best to insure everyone stays uninformed but I know many people with young daughter's who are considering using this vaccine, in my opinion it's better to teach your daughter the value of an annual PAP smear once they become sexually active this method is just as effective and it has NO HARMFUL SIDE EFFECTS!
At one time you could trust your family doctor to look out for your family's health and best interest but sadly that's no longer a possibility they are now driven by financial gains and pretty much owned by the pHARMaceutical Industry and I will blog more on that later. You must be informed and knowledgeable and work with your health care people to look out for yourselves. Think about it, there is no profits in healthy people, there is no profit in curing people, only in diagnosing "diseases" and treating the symptoms are the big bucks to be made in the medical field. These days doctors are paid well by the pHARMaceutical Industry to "promote" their "miracle drugs" but that's enough on that subject for now just be informed, be knowledgeable it's the best way to stay safe and healthy.

I prefer writing fun blogs but thought that since several deaths of young women have been reported in connection with this vaccine as well as all of the very serious side effects that this information needs to be dispersed quickly to the masses in hopes it might save some grief........

Not Carrying Your Own Weight, That Sucks.....

Most big corporations would love you to believe the illustration above but it's nothing close to the truth. The fact is that most corporations avoid paying taxes by exploiting loop holes in the law including off shore banking and the sad thing is our government allowing this to go on. They bitch, whine, yell, scream and throw tantrums but with the money they make they should be paying the bulk of the taxes, it shouldn't fall on the working class but it always does thanks to crooked politicians, special interest lobbyist and bad attorney's and law maker's. You see I actually don't feel bad about paying taxes, think about all they pay for and all the benefits we reap from them in the big picture but what I find loathsome and disgusting is those who get very wealthy doing business and then exploiting every thing they can to avoid paying a fair tax on their wealth, to me that's a form of treason among other crimes. They should pay their fair share and be proud and grateful that they are able to do it! But then I also think they should pay the worker bee's that got them there fair wages and decent benefits also and not do it begrudgingly but gratefully. I find greed and selfishness and especially to the degree we witness it today a hideous plight on America and all Americans. Taxes pay for roads, schools, libraries, police and firemen, health and safety and none of those things are free, paying taxes is part of a democracy avoiding paying them by unethical means, pushing the limits of the laws, exploiting a system that you used to acquire your wealth, that's pathetic and disgusting and treasonous, if you don't want to pay than go play in another country and see how you like it there .........
As long as these companies and this countries wealthiest are allowed to get away with these crimes against this country the working class will continue to be forced to pay for their short comings. There's got to be a reckoning and the sooner the better. The system's out of balance, that's why it's not working right, think about it....I mean really, WTF they suck!!!

I just put Maxine in because I like her sense of humor and I don't like always ending on a negative note and most people are very negative when it comes to taxes but if we set the wealthiest 10% on the straight and narrow it would lighten the other 90% of the people's load, it's all in the checks and balances, we need to start holding people accountable.........

.Greed, That Sucks

You know the original theory regarding money was actually a good idea but the way most prioritise it really sucks, everything has a value and we as individuals sets our own priorities and to me a very sad thing that so many put such a high one on money and they forsake everything and everyone to get it. I want to know why they have to have way more than they could possibly ever need and why it's so hard for them to share even with the people who break their backs to make it for them.

Myself, I make money because society dictates my need to, I can spend it with the best of them and I like the things it buys. When I have more than I need I tend to give it to those who don't, it makes me feel good to help. But basically , I hate it and blame it for many of the problems the world is facing today, it's not actually the money it the way it makes many people act. How do you justify taking away quality of life for it? how do you justify taking life for it? If your in that 10% that controls most of it on this planet, how do you sit on soooooooooooooooooooo much of it knowing that if you spread it around a little you could alleviate a lot of pain and suffering even death for many including a lot of children, I can not understand that mentality at all, it eludes me completely and I think that's a good thing for me because I think to be someone like you rather than someone like me, WTF that would really suck........

Dumb & Dummer Alive & Well In Nevada....

I wondered when I first arrived if it was me or if a lot of the people were just a little off? It wasn't me after doing a little research on the state of Nevada and it's educational system I must sadly report that most of the citizens of this state reflect the educational system that's been here for decades and is pretty much the saddest excuse for one I've ever seen. If you read my last blog you know they are planning to cut the budget for education even more. God forbid they should actually put a decent (fair & reasonable)tax on the Gambling Industry or the Mining Industry which has raped and pillaged this state for decades and both walked away with billions and billions in profits over the decades. Oh hell no, continue to sacrifice the children of Nevada so that the greedy, selfish Gambling & Mining Industries can keep on getting richer & richer at the expense of every citizen in this state for a few more decades. WTF, that SUCKS!!!!

The gambling industry has long been the nemesis of Nevada education, recently adopting a strategy of scapegoating non-gaming business for the fact that the state stands in increasingly poor financial condition. Indeed, industry leaders have even accused some businesses of paying no taxes at all. Their latest strategy is to blame the state's anemic economic diversification efforts for bringing in non-taxed businesses. Gambling in Nevada does not pay its fair share of taxes. The industry does not really care about supporting either education or economic diversification. It wants no competition for our large, undereducated, low-wage labor pool.

The state of Nevada should be able to boast the best education system in the country but instead they have one of the worst, this should be a devastating disgrace to the people of this state, the children of this state should mean more than that! Somebody explain this phenomenon to me please?

WTF, That sucks!!!!!

Yeah, that really does suck! I simply find it amazing that a state with two incomes that basically no other state's have to draw tax revenue from have an education system as bad as Nevada's, a teen suicide rate as high as Nevada's, a drop-out rate as high as Nevada and a college enrollment as low as Nevada's.

Those statistic's suck for all Nevadan's, do you people have no self respect? Do you not give a damn about your children and their education? Do you not realize that upon your retirement these are the children you must count on to run this country and take care of your nasty, greedy, self-serving pathetic asses.

The fact is Nevada offers no hope to it's youth hence, the high drop out rate, high suicide rate. Most Nevada teenager's don't enroll in college or some other higher education because they're not educated well enough or properly prepared to succeed.

I do not understand how the people of Nevada tolerate this, my children are grown and don't live here and didn't have to go to school here, thank god. Now with the economy so poor the first thing the governor does is attempt to cut the education budget nearly in half, to me with the state of affairs here that's the last thing you do. The casino's been pocketing mega profits for ages in this state, they OWE the children of this state and now would be a great time for them to step up and pay their dues! Why does no one in this state care to see that the children get a decent education, I understand the greed of the casino owner's, they have to be forced to pay taxes, loop holes have to be slammed shut! I don't understand why the parents in this state do not stand up for their children and demand better. These our your children, they are our future and we all owe them at least a shot at a decent future and right now the state of Nevada offers them nothing but hopelessness, dead end jobs with low wages and very few lousy benefit's. The "right to work" state, MY ASS! There is nothing good in that statement, nothing to be proud of! Now if this was a "right to receive fair compensation for your work" you might have something going on. The people of the state of Nevada, while they haven't been taught how to use their brains properly need to at least try and get a handle on what's going on here. They need to realize that when they unite under one cause they have the power to make changes, changes that can give their children a better education like they deserve, a chance at a college education, a chance to live a better quality of life.

The fact is the gambling industry has failed miserably in it's obligation to the people of Nevada, they have fallen far short of a moral and ethical responsibility to the communities that have offered up what's close to slave labor for decades now. And here's one last fact for you in this blog any way, if Nevada wants to expand it's business and industry base, get diversified then it needs to improve it's education system, it has to make the gambling industry pay it's fair share for a change, it has to offer the children of Nevada a future of hope, of opportunity and a better quality of life. And this isn't something you should have an option to do, it's something you have a moral responsibility to accomplish, the state of Nevada owes the children of Nevada much, much more and better than what they've given so far. The economy is no excuse for not accomplishing this, it's the perfect opportunity to show the world Nevada does give a damn about their children, they do have a social conscience, ethic's and integrity do matter, set an example, I dare you! WTF, this sucks!

We made history in this country this year during the presidential election proving when we work together for a goal we have the power to achieve it, the education of the children in Nevada needs to be a priority for everyone in this state, a top priority!

It's time we let the children of Nevada know we do care, they do matter and they do have a worthwhile future, it's our responsibility, our obligation or will you continue to allow the Gambling Industry to make you and them a failure?

Pretty amazing statistic huh? If your part of that 10% then I guess life is going pretty good for you, even now. If your part of the other 10%, especially the bottom tier of that 10% then that probably really sucks!

Lack Of Ethic's In Advertising....

Today we have become a fast food society, where everything is served up quick in throw away container's. Advertising has adjusted well to this concept, in fact, they are thriving on in. No longer do we demand truth, no longer do we question or read labels, we simply look at the big picture in front of us and take it at face value failing to read the fine print listed below. Advertiser's count on this, an example:



It is honest, arsenic is all natural and they could have added vitamins & minerals then add a tasty looking picture on the cover. This would sell but whoa is the one who doesn't take a moment to read the fine print and assumes this is something to eat! And the part that really sucks is this is the way advertiser's do sell their clients products today because they count on us not taking the time to read the fine print, they appeal to our sense's with what they feel we want to hear and see in the big picture and adhere to the law in the fine print and only as much as they are forced to.

We need change in this area but we need people to demand it first. As long as consumer's are buying then advertiser's are going to continue advertising in this manner. Only when consumer's demand ethic's and integrity in advertising will we see it and then begrudgingly, that also sucks, a lot! What ever happened to the days when manufacturer's took pride in their products? What happened to the agencies that were put in place to protect consumer's? When are people ever going to wise up and realize that the bottom line is not always nor should be the top priority? I mean WTF that really sucks........

Atlantis Still Sucks....And So Does This Poor Puppies Predicament

I started this blog out mostly to have fun and I'm going to get back there because quite frankly I love having fun and I love laughing besides it's low cal and good for everyone. Until I saw this cartoon I never thought about it but remember the little kid in "Christmas Story" that was bad enough but just think if this could be a reality and you were this puppy that would really suck!

As for the Atlantis follow up on the story I blogged yesterday, I did finally receive a call back today after the big meeting and I was informed they were finally going to post a credit back to my credit card for the 2 tickets their employee took from my envelope as soon as this mysterious Steve shows up and approves the idea, I'll keep you posted on that also. My friends were disappointed and said they would never go there for anything again stating that the staff was rude and discourteous, why am I not surprised by that. That and the fact that they blocked all the good seating off for there "club" members and high rollers after they said they weren't going to do that show me this is somewhere I do not wish to go to have a good time and enjoy myself, these people have a lot to learn regarding customer service and to be them must really suck!!!

It was early Saturday afternoon and my husband Jack was on his way out the door to go help a friend with a home repair project when we notice blood spots on the carpet in the den and we then noticed our 16 year old Yorkie/Maltese was near the blood spots so we immediately called her to us and noticed she was seeming to have a miscarriage, there was the head and chest of a dead not fully formed fetus hanging from her vagina. Since the fetus was premature and dead we were worried it might not be a normal miscarriage and also her age was a concern so we raced her to our vet. He thought the same but as he attempted to remove the fetus it seemed to be attached so he did a sonogram and it was even worse than we imagined, it seemed the fetus was attached to or part of a cancerous tumor that had invaded her entire abdominal area. He said even if he did surgery he would have to remove a very large portion of her abdomen and she'd need chemo and radiation and he had already noticed a second tumor, Angel was 16 years old and I would never put her through that ordeal, I wouldn't put any living thing including myself through that ordeal so we ended up having the vet give her an injection that put her to sleep for good as I tried to make her as secure and peaceful as possible and it was only seconds after the injection that she died in my arms. Angel and her daddy, Tiger were the only family I had for many years and this nearly destroyed me, I had just lost her daddy to a heart attack almost 2 years earlier....

Needless to say my husband and I were broken hearted and we also had a little guy, almost 2 year old BooBoo Ringer, Tiger's namesake to console at home. When we brought him home Angel decided right away that we had got him for her and they were inseparable, today it's Monday and I am worried because Boo is just so sad and depressed, he missed his Angel badly. He keeps coming up and putting his nose to my chest where Angel laid as I held her for the last time ever while my husband prepared her coffin and grave and then he sits pretty (his way of asking for something) as though he's asking me to get her back and all I can do is try to give him comfort as I am still reeling from the unexpected loss.

To the reason for this blog today, I am so angry now there are not words I would put into print to describe the way I'm feeling towards the Atlantis Casino here in Reno, Nevada, they have wasted a lot of my time and energy when I did not have either to waste over the most idiotic situation of pathetic, disgusting and hideous customer service I have ever seen in my life. I have never seen the likes of it and I hope I never do again, there is absolutely no excuse for the situation escalating to it's current state. Customer service this bad is appalling at best, what kind of moron's do they hire and what kind of training do they receive but let me tell you what they've put us through for days now and the situation is still unresolved.

We had purchased 5 tickets for the Saturday night concert featuring Poco, Pure Prairie League and Firefall, all bands we loved and had yet to see in concert and we were going to see the concert with some very good friends of ours. The tickets were to be picked up at the casino the night of the show, which was this past Saturday, the day we lost Angel. I called the casino a head of time and told them the circumstances and that we would not be able to attend the concert but I wanted to ensure our friends had no problem's getting their tickets and seeing the show. The person, Heather who answered my call informed me regardless of circumstance the tickets were non refundable and my credit card was charged for all 5 and I understood this so I said fine, just make sure my friends get the tickets, we then called our friends and said if they could not resale the tickets then give them to someone to see the show so they were not wasted. Done, right? Not even. It seems when our friends picked up the concert tickets the person at the counter made a point of taking 2 of the tickets out of the envelope before handing it to my friend, she assumed that due to the circumstances the casino had a heart and had credited our credit card back for the 2 tickets and that's why they took them back! That would have been the nice, courteous descent thing to do but, of course, that's not what they did at all. They simply kept them and either resold them or used them themselves.

I found this out when I called my friend at the concert and ask her if she had been able to make use of the tickets and then she told me what they had done. So I called the casino back and ask them why they had taken the two tickets back and if they had refunded my credit card the cost, of course they hadn't because they are "NON REFUNDABLE" OK, then find why did they not give them with the rest to our friends as they were instructed to do, why did they take 2 out and keep them for themselves although they had already charged my credit card for them. NO ONE at the casino has an explanation for this, Heather left without returning my call, her boss, Tara was too busy handing out tickets to call me back then but said she would on Sunday but she never did so on Monday when I called back I was informed she had 2 days off and would call me back sometime after Wednesday. Sorry, this is unacceptable to me so I called the head of human resources, Teresa Finn trying to find out how to contact the general manager, Darlyne Sullivan and told her why so she tried to put me in contact with the head of special events services, Jackie Hunt so I ended up with Marina Mulch who works for Steve somebody the head of something but everybody that could deal with the situation was too busy or gone!!!!! I did at least get a call back from Marina Mulch who informed me that they had scheduled a meeting to discuss the matter and decide how to handle it at that time and would call me after with the results of their meeting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it me? Is this a NO-BRAIN ER or what, the Atlantis Casino's EMPLOYEE took tickets that belonged to me and kept them. I don't care who took them or why, it was their EMPLOYEE that took MY PAID FOR TICKETS, PAID FOR BY ME AT THEIR DEMAND and kept them, YOU SIMPLY CREDIT MY ACCOUNT THE $52.00, you fricken MORONS, YOU MEGA MORONS, YOU PATHETICALLY DUMB, IGNORANT BRAIN DEAD MENTALLY CHALLENGED MORONS. It seems so simple to me, I fail to see why it takes 5 days and multitude of MORONS having a meeting to decide how to handle the situation. I paid for 5 tickets, you only gave me 3, your employee TOOK 2 of my tickets, CREDIT MY CREDIT CARD!!!!!!

I have been on the phone and hold for so long I am now absolutely disgusted with this place the the pathetic excuses they have for customer service. Doesn't anyone expect to have to go through this type of situation over something that should have been resolved that evening before I went to bed and TARA went off her shift for her days off!!!!!!!!!! It shouldn't require an act of congress to get a refund for tickets taken my their employee's and I do not care what the reason was or who did it, it was done, YOU MAKE IT RIGHT WITH YOU CUSTOMER, OR IN THIS CASE I SHOULD SAY EX CUSTOMER I WANT TO MAKE IT UNDERSTOOD I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE Atlantis Casino Resort Spa or any of it's affiliates if I can help it EVER again, there is just no reasonable excuse for this kind of incompetence and negligence when it comes to dealing with your customers.

I talked to at least once and most of them more that once,(1) Heather,(2) Bob,(3) Roger,(4) Tara,(5) Teresa,(6) Jackie and (7) Marina ( 7 employee's) and they knew what I have been going through, how could they, how dare they add to the grief I was already going through, these people aren't fit to work in the public at large and what kind of organization is the Atlantis if it takes a meeting and an act of congress to handle this situation, it's just dumb founding to me. And now instead of comforting my almost two year old Boo dog I'm writing this damn blog because I feel abused, I mean ABUSED at best by these people. And I want to end this on a good note, LOL not possible with the Atlantis apparently, I am STILL WAITING to see if the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, multi million dollar company is going to pay me back the $52.00 for the 2 tickets, as far as I'm concerned THEIR EMPLOYEE TOOK FROM ME, yes still waiting for the results of the "meeting". Jon Stossel where are you when I need you, GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and let me mention one more note that shows the Atlantis Casino's honesty and integrity, when I initial made the reservations I inquired intensively as to seating and was informed there was NO reserved seating, everything for the show was first come first sit and then when I called my friends at the show they informed me that 1/3, at least 30 % of the center front stage area was blocked off and reserved for the Special Atlantis Club Paradise members ONLY, they flat out lied to me before I purchased the tickets, had I known this I would have never purchased any tickets for that concert at all. Nothing like a little truth in advertising huh, Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, yeah, I'll be sure to NOT ever do any business or patronize your establishment again

How is it that an ATM can give my exact balance at any time, but banks can't say what they did with $1 billion in bailout money?
Because no one forced them to. The government is handing out money like Halloween candy -- no strings attached. No strict rules on what banks should do with the money or how they should account for it. Only after the fact did people see the money go to executive bonuses and other non-essentials.

I understand the reason and need for the recent bailout but what I do not understand or cannot comprehend is why our government did not first demand accountability from the banks, why they did not put some stipulations on these funds. It was an obviously a huge mistake if read the story lines above and look at the still dead in the water financial situation. I was laid off my job some months ago through no fault of my own and am still unemployed and I have paid into those tax accounts for 42 years now, where is my handout, who's going to bail my butt out and no strings attached, it's ludicrous and absolutely sucks big time........

This is a poem I wrote recently, I think it sucks when people feel they have to pretend to be something they are not in order for them to have friends or feel loved, everyone should know the joy and comfort of living in their own skin and knowing that they are a unique and wonderful form of life loved and appreciated for exactly who and what they are. Pretentious being's are sad and pathetic and to feel the need to be one well, all I can say is that real sucks....

He Sold His Daughter For Food & Booze........

Well I haven't really been looking too hard to find a good WTF, but then one doesn't have to look too far these days do we? The economy still sucks, real estate market is still taking a dump, the war is still on and now Israel attacking Gaza, the banks have money now and so does the stock market but they are only sharing it with their top exec's in the manner of bonuses, raises and trips to exclusive resorts. Then on the news tonight I heard a story about a man who sold his teenage daughter into marriage for money, food and booze and he was caught when he went to the police to complain that he hadn't received his money yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That really sucks all the way around it for everyone involved and I'm dying to find out how this one ends, I'll try to track it and keep you posted........................

I gave the blog a new look, changed my avatar and with the new year already in full swing I thought it might be a good time to change the blog since it wasn't getting any attention anyway. The title pretty much covers everything so who knows what I'll put here, not even me right now but 2008 was the year from hell and I'm glad it's over I'm looking forward to 2009. It's the Year of the Ox in Chinese astrology and my hubby is an OX, a big hairy beast!!!LOL Just kidding, he's actually a very cute hairy beast but then I do love furry things and I like wearing fur, fake fur of course, it's usually washable and comes in many colors and patterns where as the real fur looks much better worn by it's original owners. So if you just happened along this blog try stopping by again soon, maybe I'll have something interesting or funny to say or maybe not who knows but then wtf.........
